problems with layout

I have a web site nearly ready to go live but I'm having some serious
problems with objects not lining up. They are fine in IE, and actually fine
with Netscape 4. But in Netscape 6/7, the dropdown menu and the actual page
content are not falling into their correct place (as they do with IE). The
dropdown menu is inside a table so that I can center it on the table. The
page content is not inside a table and I don't want to use a table. I'm
sure something could be fixed with my style sheet. I have set up pages like
this before and not experienced this problem

Try moving this div to just before the closing </body> tag on your page.

It seems to be that which may be causing the problem.
