Problems with backgrounds

I have just tried introducing some .jpeg as backgrounds in a table on my web
site. I tried to use the same images in different tables. The problem is
that on some it works and on others it does not.
If you go to http://trubbl.co.uk/SCO1S2.htm you will see that the images do
not appear, (I have coloured 1 orange where it should be) whereas at
http://trubbl.co.uk/SCO2aS2.htm they do. I have tried to put other images
into these spaces as well with no sucess. So why am I not able to put
background images all the way across the table???

Hi - try applying it to the <td> tag instead of the <tr> tag - may be the
problem.
