Default Problem with running Panorama image - 02-15-2009 , 12:03 PM

Have created a 360 deg panorama with Panorama Studio 1.6. All works fine
'locally' in IE, Safari and FireFox. However, when I accessed the page after
upload, I got an error message in all OSs, whilst the image was loading.
The problem is at http://www.gardensoflondon.co.uk/panorama.test.html. Have
enabled all the Java options under Internet tools, but no joy...

any suggestions, please?

404 on that page. But why are you exporting to java as many visitors will block java applets. Doesn't that application export to Flash?

Yes, it does. Perhaps I should try that. Apparently, according to the documentation, both java and flash use the same xml file.. Will amend and let you know.

Well, I changed it to flash and locally works fine. When uploaded, it is OK in
IE7, but does not show in either Safari or Firefox.

I have also found that the panorama image is over the top pull down mwnu
items, when any of the top menu items are accessed. The pull-down menu items
are behind the image. How could I correct this?

Many thanks Jo. since my post, I read an article by Drew McLellan at
http://alistapart.com/articles/flashsatay

I have made some alterations, as suggested. I have removed the codebase line,
as I do verify the flash version on my index page, as the slideshow is a flash.
I also removed the embed tags.
The panorama now plays in IE7 and Safari. But not in Firefox.

Any suggestions, please?

Re the parameters suggested in the linked article. I do not have embed tags
any more. will add the others and see...

Try changing your doctype - I don;t think this will work in FF with a
strict doctype!
