Problem with links

Hi,
Iam having problems creating links. Instead of using a table for the list of
catogories on the homepage I have created a table in a photo package includeing
the names of the diffrent catogories. So I have inserted this into my homepage
in dreamweaver as a picture but as I can't highlight individual text in the
pic, will I be able to create links using the text in the picture?

it's not text. it's an image.

use the "hotspot" tool to create an imagemap.
