Default Problem with IE 7 - 10-01-2006 , 07:14 PM

Good day:
For the past couple of years, I have been trying to teach myself as much as I
can about design. Reading the posts here everyday from so many talented
designers has been very helpful, but I usually post here when I can't figure
something out, as my skills are limited. My web site
http://www.projectaces.com rendered nicely in most browsers. Then the beta of
IE 7 came out, and the top nav bar does not function properly. I was hoping
someone here could be kind enough to possibly help me with this issue. Thank
you.

The IE fixes you'll find used for our CSS Express menu will work for
yours:

Look at the Conditional Comment in the head of the page and change it to
reference your element IDs.

Al:
Thank you very much for your response. I did a test page
http://www.lensaunders.com/aces/test.html. Can you or someone let me know if I
did this correctly and if it fixed it in IE 7 since I do not have it installed
yet on my computer. I am new to all this, so I have a feeling I did not do it
correctly. Thanks again.

The menu is still wonky in IE7. I know our code works, so if you can't
fix yours, feel free to use our CSS Express code. What you can try is to
add a global layout fix for all divs on the page by adding this to your
lte IE 7 style sheet:

div {zoom: 100%;}

Good luck.

Thank you Al. I am not quite sure how to apply what you said to my page. I am
quite new to all of this, and don't want to mess everything up too much. If
there is a way you can help me set up the test page with this fix, I'd
appreciate it. Then I know how to apply it to all the other pages.

if the top nav bar works?

Thank you. If they do not work, can anyone tell me what I may have done
wrong. Thank you all.

I received a couple of emails that neither test site worked in IE 7. I don't know what else to do. If anyone can help this non profit site, please let me know. Thanks.
