I dont know why another frame would just appear. On my site i have a header frame(top)( which is fine in positioning) navigational frame(left), footer frame (bottom)(which is fine too) , and then my right frame which is my body.. My problem was the info in the body frame was going out farther than the header and footer frames so i indented all the info on each of my body pages which brought everything in more and got rid of my horizontal scroll bar but gave me a vertical scroll bar... I dont know why another frame would just appear if you didnt set the frame up there, unless i understand you wrong. |

I just can't get those frames the way I want them to be, so I'll just reconstruct the site and build it without them ![]() Thank you all for your support ! |

I have also run into similar problems using frames and looked for ways around them. One way is using drifting layers, which has major drawbacks as well. Another way is one that I found on Coke.com, but I have no idea how it was accomplished. On the site's non-flash version, when their text doesn't fit in the window a scroll bar appears. If you have any ideas on how they did this, I would love to hear them and I think it might be a viable alternative to using frames because the menus stay put while you scroll. The link is: http://www2.coca-cola.com/citizenship/africa_network_partners.html Thanks, Colman |
