Problem with DW Spry menu

Mousing over the menu items in IE causes the links to move to the top left
corner of the page - not so with Firefox.
What's the problem, we wonder?? Afriend and I are doing it together and she
has a more recent edition of Dreamweaver than I have (v.8).
