Problem to control frame

Dear all,

I have setup a chat room using three frames,

chat.php ==> contains ( top.php, left.php and main.php )

I want to setup some buttoms in the left.php (says, link#1, link#2 and
link#3), so this can change main.php to another page ( main2.php,
main3.php,..... )

Do you have any fellows who has experience of doing that, if so, please give
me some hints.

Name the frames. Use the name as the target of the link.
