Default Problem with cell height - 07-09-2004 , 12:23 PM

Hi there folks,
I racked my brains and spent 4 hrs on this before posting a message
here.

Im resized my cell heigt to 15 px and width to 182 px and placed an
thin image of the same size here (W 182 X H 15). Now in design view
it shows up fine without any spaces but when I test it in browser a
little space is made right below the image in the cell itself.

I tried the followin

1. Resized the image to 20 px hieght and the cell to 20 px height -
but still the same thing happens a little space is created in the
bottom

2. I deleted the non breaking space and still this happens

3. Changed the over all table layout from % to pixels and vice versa
but still the same thing happens.

I would really appreciate you help here.

As an example consider this site www.gojuvo.com. If you look on the
right under the 4 bots where it says "JUVOVIANS SAY...' in the dark
strip and a light background colored cell.

In my case where I have the image in the cell it creates a space
below the image in the same cell.

Thanks

Humm...you actually have no widths or height specified for the images. I
dont think any, or most, images on your page have the width or height
specified?

You need to give them some widths and heights. What happened to them?

Also it might help that you remember to set the alignment of the <td
cells to top. Makes for a more solid structure.
