Preview Problems in IE

Hi I am just starting a new site and running MX 2004 and XP Pro.

I have 3 table rows each with a picture in it (jpg) when I go to
preview in IE6 it shows the table rows but cannot display the pictures
(just get the red cross)

I have the site set to Local/Network and set the root and images
directories properly all to no avail.

This is driving me mad so if anyone can help I would be very grateful

What about if you right click on a broken image and check the
properties? Is the path right?

Hi Andy and thanks for your reply.

I have checked that and it does seem to be showing the wrong path to
the file. When I change it though the pictures in Dreamweaver
disappear and grey boxes appear in their place but when I preview in
F12 the pics show properly.

Is there a simple solution that will let me see my pictures when
designing and also when previewing and why would the path be wrong in
the fist place when I am dragging the pics from the assets panel or
inserting from the insert menu?

Any help appreciated
