Default Preview in Browser doesn't work - 07-15-2004 , 02:22 AM

I get the "Can't find server" static page. The test site has the proper file
path in the URL. Running dual boot Win2K and Server2K. Removing the dual boot
is not an option. In the Files window, local view shows all the files, test
view shows the files after I click refresh. The index.html is basically a
"Hello World" to eliminate any gremlins. If I use Windows Explorer and right
click the index file and select Open With>iexplore, it opens just fine. What am
I overlooking? I had posted a message here earlier, but it never showed up.
Under Home, it says I have posted 1 message, but I can't find it anywhere. I
must be missing something there too.
Thanks in advance,
Doug

I can see your previous message - 7/14 at 2:02PM.

What happens if you point your browser to http://localhost?

What is the alias you have used for your testing server?

What happens if you point your browser to http://localhost/<your alias>?

Where does the alias actually point?
