I would like to have a preloader that sits on top of a webpage and allows the user to see how close to finished the webpage is to being loaded in terms of percents or bytes out of total, etc. I realize that most web browsers have a status bar in the bottom of them, however I would like something a little more descriptive and usefull than this, as the status bars don't even seem to always show load status correctly. I know of javascripts for preloading images, is there anything for a preloader for the entire page including Flash movies, images, text, etc? Thanks for any help! |
