Preference to Open File Details

Hello-
I am new to this Dreamweaver and when I go to File, Open it gives me the
standard Microsoft Open list without file details such as date, size, etc. How
do I change the preferences so that it will show all file details rather than
just the list of names?

In XP, click on the "View Menu" button on the far right and choose Details.

Thanks - I do that and then gives the details. I have found that out. BUT, it
doesn't stay as the default! When I next go back to open a file it changes to
the default - which is just the file name.

I would love to find out how to change the DEFAULT so that it show the file
details.

Any help is appreciated.
