Pre-center a scrollbar?

I am using the overflow auto property in <img> tags to display panoramic photos
with horizontal scrolling. This works fine (at least in FF3 and IE7), but the
panorama aways starts at the extreme left. Is there any way to overcome this
so that the scrollbar is initially positioned at the center of its range (the
center of the panorama)?

No way to control this with HTML and CSS alone. You would need to use
scripts. Maybe this will do what you want?
