Default Position Layer to Object - 07-30-2004 , 02:03 PM

Creating a navigation bar. Would like create a drop down menu within a layer.
The absolute positioning does not work for all monitor resolutions. How do I
attach the layer to the mapped object so people can see what is found at that
page? Is there an easier way? Thanks.

I'm not sure if I 100% follow, but you should look at the Snap Layer
extension, it might do exactly what you need:

Using Flash for navigation is about the worst thing you can do.

Not good advice :-) What if people don't have flash installed - lost
visitors.

Learn to build these dropdowns yourself.
Have a look here for a good read

Or use CSS - that's what it's great at.
