Default Popup Menus: Different frame panels AND button over state - 07-12-2004 , 08:32 AM

I have created a popup menu, and I want it to

a) Keep it's button-over state whilst the mouse is on the menu
b) Open up in a different frame

I came accross answer to both of these problems seperately:
How to retain the button over state while scrolling over a Pop-up Menu
(TechNote #15926)
How to open Pop-up Menus in another frame panel (TechNote 15816)

The tutorials work fine serperately. When I try and do both, I get the popup
in the different frame as desired, the button over state whilst mouse is on
popup as required, but it doens't restore when mouse is off the popup.

please can someone tell me how I get the image to restore back to the button
off state when the mouse is off the popup?
Is it possible?

Thank you

Reposting the question will just annoy people and get you the same answers.
Did the earlier ones not suit?
