pop-up window

Hello to everybody!



Probably this question was posted here many times, so I apologize for
repeating it. I am working on a Website, which has both an Italian, and an
English version. Anyhow, the English version is still not complete, so I
need a pop-up window, which would open when the English version opens to
inform the visitors about it.



Now, my question is, how could I open this pop-up window. Another problem
is, that I am using a template, and I need the pop-up window to appear just
at the starting page, and just one time.



Could anybody help me?

A simple javascript would do it.

If you take a look at the behaviours panel in Dreamweaver, it generates javascript on the fly.
