Some advice:
Just remember though, you are using a table layout. DO NOT insert a
layer into your table, without knowing the consequences. Make sure
you check your design in various browsers, otherwise you may be in
for a bit of a shock :-)
Also, resize your browser to make sure that the layers are where they
are supposed to be.

HAHAHA Ears cleaned...check. Nose Wiped...Check.

Actually If Nadia told me to do that, Id most likely follow her advice. =-)
She's hasnt led me wrong so far.

Nadia...Do you mean not to insert a layer into a table. IE Place my cursor in
a table and "insert layer"? If that's what you mean Ive been placing my cursor
down below the tables in an empty spot. I think it makes a space show below my
page in a browser but I learned my lesson trying to put layers INTO a table.
What a PAIN in the @$$ that was!! Is putting a layer below ok? So far its
worked out great for me. Ive also learned the wonderful world of Snapping
layers to objects on load and resize. What a life saver that is. Still LOTS
to learn.

Thanks a lot.

Yep, you found out the consequences to that didn't you :-)

You can put divs into a table cell, but you have to be careful and know
exactly what you are doing, but you are getting very good at what you are
doing now.. so it won't be long ........

Snap Layers is a great extension and it seems you are using it correctly -
particularly if your layers are not wandering all over the page

No problems, it's a pleasure.

be shown">Mouse over me</a>

Im sure this has been discussed already, but Id like to make a pop up
layer
appear when a viewer scrolls over certain text. Im assuming this can be
done
in CSS Behaviors. Im struggling through it, so if anyone has some advice
or
could point me in the right direction Id appreciate it. Is this a decent
thing
to do, or is it frowned upon?

Thanks

Murray,

Im guessing that, the code you typed out there would go between the div tags?
Still not quite at the level where I can look at code and tell what its for and
where it goes. Getting there, but .....

It sounded to me like you were looking for descriptive information that
would appear when some text is moused over. If the descriptive information
is not so voluminous, the title attribute is a very simple and effective way
to present such a function.

Try copying that code and pasting it into a new page in DW (do this in code
view, and paste it between <body> and </body>, or do it in design view after
clicking on the page, and paste with Shift-Ctrl-V).

Then preview the page and mouse over the text.
