Please help - Document Toolbar

I obviously clicked on something in error. Suddenly my Document Toolbar has
disappeared. When I drop down
View and click on Toolbars - Document is greyed out. How do I get back to
normal. Have lots to do today and can't waste time. Would appreciate your
help.

Dropdown options are sometime greyed out unless a page is actually open at
the time you attempt to select them

I tried this, but it is still greyed out.
