Playing sound on mouseOver

Hello,

When I have DW play a sound based on an event, the page changes to a player
(quick time as it would happen), and the sound plays.

How can I make the sound play on mouseOver and onClick without the player
showing up?

you can't unless you use flash. How the sound file plays is based on the

user's browser/system settings for handling various file types. Flash
will play in the browser if the sound is a) a movie clip in a swf [good
for playing a loop] or b) set to play on clicking a flash button

for how to do those things in flash, either look in the flash help or
ask in the flash forum. DW has some flash buttons that have sound, I
think...
