PIB_dynamic.js--exception thrown in native functi

Today I started receiving this error message at random times:
While executing receiveArguments in PIB_dynamic.htm, the following javascript
error(s) occurred:
At Line 111 of file "C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
MX2004\Configuration\Menus\MM\PIB_dynamic.js"; Exception thrown in native
function.
I close the error message, everything's fine for awhile and suddenly DWMX just
closes.
Any ideas what's going on??

Further info--this seems to happen when I try to preview my page. Please help--do I need to reinstall DW?

If you have installed extensions, try removing them.
Remove the most recent first, quit DW and restart DW.

Thanks for the suggestion--unfortunately it didn't work. In fact, I had IE open when the PIB error message occurred this time, and it also closed IE.

Any other ideas?
