Default PHP, Perl or Python - 07-16-2003 , 06:42 PM

Hello Everyone:

Here is what may be a very silly question:

My hosting provider allows me to run any of the
following three CGI languages: PHP, Perl and Python.

On the web site I am currently designing with DMX, I would like to have
a couple of forms for support requests, information requests
etc. Additionally a message board or a simple forum as well
but this will come later.

Can anyone tell me which of the three languages I am best off
using, given what I am planing? Will DMX work better with
any one of these in particular?

Any help, thoughts and hints are very welcome!

Thanks in advance,
Mario

PHP as dw has PHP server behaviors already. Also there are PHP extensions
available - both free and commercial.

I would have to agree. PHP is probably going to be your best bet.
Easy to learn and lots of features, works well with DMX, excellent
documentation.

Cheers,
Daniel
