Default Photo gallery on webpage - 11-20-2004 , 11:11 AM

I want to create a photo gallery in my website but I have no time to
create it all by myself.
In Dreamweaver MX 2004 , is there a ready - made photo galley or wizard to
create it ?
If there is, how can I use it? If there isn't, what alternatives can I
use ? Tell me please.

Thank you.

There is a free Web Photo Album Extension from Macromedia on the
Exchange. There is also my not-free JustSo PhotoAlbum3 Extension as
well. And of course there are others, so happily you need not do all
the work yourself.

Hi Jirapong,
I don't know about DW but if you have Photoshop then you already have all
the tools you need. In Photoshop go to File>Automate>Web Photo Gallery...
This produces not only the gallery itself, inc' thumbnails but produces all
the html needed to get it to work online. For a live example of a slide show
type gallery, check out http://www.kitchenplans.biz/galpicmax/index.htm
obvoiusely you need to change the awful default backgrounds etc but at least
all the donkey work is done for you.
Hope this helps,
Gene Stevo.

I'm not calling my self anything.
This was not my post but a copy of a post I put up ages ago (probably to
Alex_49) who is "passing it on in an effort to be helpful to his fellow man.
Only stumbled on it by accident this time round.

Thank you.

Thumbnail Express will do it all for you automatically which includes
creating thumbnail pages, full size pages and the navigation to go between
them as well as backgrounds and other styling. However, if you want to
make any changes, you will have to correct some of their html and css
mistakes first.

Basically, you put all of your images in a directory, and set a few
preferences. You run their program and it creates everything. All you
have to do is load it on a web site - it might even do that for you, too, I
don't remember.

There's a free extension called WebPhotoAlbum 2.2 and there're some
tutorials on "Using Web Photo Album Extension for Dreamweaver" too:
