A permanent lock on a file using Dreamweaver

Hi,

Is it possible to permanently lock a file using Dreamweaver? Basically, I have
a site which other people can access however, there is one html file (in the
remote location-unix server) that I don't want anybody to edit (check out).

Is this even possible using Dreamweaver?

Can I lock the code? the way it's done with templates!

No. Templates only work within Dreamweaver.
