Default PayPal shopping cart - 01-29-2004 , 05:43 PM

I have a client that wants a PayPal shopping cart. Be able to have an add
to cart button and quantity selector under each thumbnail image ofeach
product. Software budget is about $150. Any recommendations if I should
purchase something or will the free web assist PayPal buttons be the easiest
and best solution. Unix hosting.

Thanks,

Bobby

www.charon.co.uk !!

I am not plugging another regular here but I have just bought charon cart 3
from the above website.

I was a bit dubious at first but only because of the small price (I expected
to pay a lot more)

The system he sells is ONLY £25.00 and it almost rivals Amazon !!!

I had some setup issues and contacted Julian (The site owner) and it was
23:45 and he was still helping me with the setup.

Thanks Julian

Bobby,
You probably know my favourite is Yourvirtualstore
http://www.dreamweaverresources.com/ecommerce.htm

However, having used paypal myself for a while, it is not very hard to set
up and this maybe the way to go for you. You have to remember though, that
if a customer does not have a paypal account, they will have to sign up for
an account prior to purchasing anything from your site. A lot of people
maybe put off by this - it is a decision your client will have to make I
guess.

The other option as someone else pointed out is the freebie - www.mals-e.com
I use the freebie for a client because he is quite happy to process the
payments himself.
If the client wishes to have the process streamlined to use a payment
gateway, then you can always up mals to the premium verion.

Hope this helps.
