Default pasting problem in Word and Outlook - 05-20-2004 , 10:18 PM

One of the major reasons I got MX 2004 was the new paste-from-Word feature, and
while it is a HUGE improvement, it's still a bit buggy - getting weird spaces
around commas, parentheses, etc. Just an FYI to developers for the next
bugfix. (Using Office XP)

Sadly, the copy/paste feature does not work for Outlook - pasting from an
e-mail now fills my code with unwanted <font> and <span> and Mso code, such
that I've resorted to pasting from Outlook into a text file (or Word file) and
then copying and pasting into DW. This is pretty annoying. Is there any way
to adjust preferences so it won't try to keep formatting on non-Word sources?

Thanks,
D

Don't know of any preferences for it, but you could click
Edit->Paste Text.

Yes, it's WAY better (pasting from Word), but still needs some tuning. MM
is aware of this and is working on it.

As for pasting from Outlook, I dunno....
