Password Redirection script / extension

Hi,

I'm looking for a CGI/Perl script or a Dreamwaer Extension that I can
run on my "Clients Log In Page".

The page will allow each client to enter their user name and password
and when they submit the details, they are verified and each
user/password combination is redirected to a specific webpage - my
clients web page within their directory in my site.

This web page will then run other scripts to enable Clients to upload
and download files from within thier directory on my website.

Is this possible? If so, how easy/difficult is it to implement (I'm
still a beginner!!) and where do I access such a script.

I found one script which was exactly what I wanted:

http://www.rlaj.com/scripts/password/passwd-redir/

but i kept getting a processing error which I then found out was due
to a browser referrer bug. Their knowldegebase answer is at the
following URL:

Anyone have any suggestions??
