passing parameters to server behaviors dynamically.

I have written a server behavior which has a parameter. This server behavior is called when I drag and drop something from component panel into the design view of the document. Now, for the parameter value , a dialog box appears ie a text field and I have to type in the value there. Instead of this, I want the parameter value to be set automatically. The value can come either from component panel file or it can come from somewhere else , a web service probably.

If somebody could tell me how I can supply the parameter values directly ie without the dialog box appearing it would of great help.....
