Default pages done in Microsoft word. GRRRR! - 11-19-2004 , 06:15 PM

Hi - Students have done a site in Microsoft word that the college has given me
to upload on their site. None of the images are showing up and I have tried
re-linking them. Stil not working. I am 7 months pregnant with twins and it
could be that I am too tired and my brain is not working! Any help would be
appreciated! here is URL:

Are you teaching what? Forget the pregnant stuff, hey some people live in
Sweden.

Husband is away on a business trip, but thanks for the idea. To the second
poster - yes - it is the worst site I have ever seen as well. I did NOT design
it, students did. And yes- I know people live in Sweden. My husband used to
live there. Anyone have any helpful answers?? -Dana

I have to wonder why some folks use programs such as Word and Publisher to
build web site?
I don't really wonder at all!! Microsoft and these programs give people the
option such as SAVE AS HTML and they think that will do the trick. There
ought to be warnings from MS: DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT TO MAKE WEB PAGES!!
And occasionally teachers encourage thier students to use these wrong
products also because they don't know how to use the correct product
themselves.

In the DW menu bar, try Commands>clean up work HTML.
Next, make sure all images are .jpg or .gif file format (and they were
"saved as" in a proper image editor).
BTW Pablo, watch what you say to a pregnat woman, sometimes they bite!
Hope that helps though I'm not sure it will. Can just imagine how p****d off
you must be right now.

Hi Dana

What images aren't showing? I looked at a few pages and it seems to me that
all the images are showing.
