Page Weight Questions

Hi,

Whats generally a good figure to keep under, on the weight of a page,
obviously the lighter the better. But is there a general figure?

In DW it shows in the bottom right corner estimated download times, I have
mine set to 33K and the page is currently 21K 5 seconds or at 56K 3 seconds,
what do you set your DL speed to in DW and whats acceptable?

40-50Kb/page including images. I'm not sure if file types like e.g. .swf
are included in the figure you see....
