Default Page Title Problems - 07-04-2008 , 09:43 AM

http://www.saracenlanding.com/new/saracen-home.html

I am developing this site and used DWCS3 templates for my pages to keep from
having to update the menus on every page every time I add a new page as I
complete the site. I made the mistake of saving a couple of my original pages
as templates with the titles in place. As a result, every page had the same
title. So I went back in and removed the titles from the templates, hoping that
I could insert titles as I saved pages. Nothing doing. When I open the pages
for editing and insert a title and save it, it looks fine. When I open the page
again, the title is blank like the template.

I guess my question is two fold. Is there a way to make the title section in a
DWCS3 template editable. If not, is there a way to imbed the page title in the
code of each page. I looked in the code to find the titles, but could not
divine the location, being somewhat code-challenged.

Home, Rental, Rental Policies, Rental Application and Farmers Market are the
only active pages and menu items curretnly.

TIA,
Joe

This is the sign of an improperly made template.

Do this -

Create a new page (Basic HTML).
Use FILE | Save as Template....
Look at the code in the head region of the page, particularly the editable
region around the <title> tag, and the other editable region in the head
called "head".
Make your template file look like that.

Always use FILE | Save as Template when you create your templates and you
won't have this problem again.
