Not for me. My 1280x1024 screen rarely has a browser viewport wider than
about 712 pixels, so your 800 settings would still give me a scrollbar.

A page size for 800x600 is 760x420.....and that works here. You have to
remember that these bowsers tent to add all kinds of menus, buttons, status

bars, side bars this and that...Some people have everything turned on and
some people only have a few things turned on. Changing the size in dreamwear
is just a view change. Not a content size change. It is best to make
something a little smaller (like a menu going across your page). Then the
viewer doesn't have to scroll to the right to see your whole menu. And
sometime if one forgets that you have something hanging off to the right. It
is then lost...

As for how long you want to make a page is up to you. If you make it to
long and have photos way down at the bottom. the viewer then has to wait for
|
those to be loaded. Those may load first and the viewer is looking at
nothing while th page is loading...Is best to keep thing above the fold line
if you can....I've seen sites that have 50 thumbnails on it. Beats me why
they do this. Better to make a new page than to have too much on it......
