Page depending on standard language

Hi there,

I got a website with 4 different index files:
index.html (with a few flags, in order to make the visitor choose which
language he prefers)

index_nl (Dutch)
index_ger (German)
index_sw (Swedisch)

Is there a way to automatically redirect a user to one of the languages,
depending on the default language they use themself?
With the exception, that you get the normal index.html in case the language
is not defined by the site......

I would serve the index page in the language that the majority of your
users use.
I would not use flags (politics), use a text link instead in the
appropriate language, for example:
Français
Deutsch
Sverige

You can detect the OS language most of the time, but I would let the
user decide.
