Okay- I've got it. Any of the computers I've heard of this issue on had the
text for their browsers set to Large or Largest (View/Text Size/Larger). The
default, and the one the pages were designed with, was Medium.

In a nutshell, anything more than "Medium" extends the text over itself.
I've put constraints on it now so it can't do this no matter what the text
size.

Thanks!

So the problem is just what I posted three days ago? ;-)

Now, you just THINK you have solved the problem. You have chosen to make
your text rather small. That means that, if I want to be able to read it
comfortably, I need to increase the size. It takes an extra step, but I
click Tools->Internet Options->Accessibility->Ignore font sizes specified in
pages. You page still explodes.

Of course it's still invisible unless you have the Flash player installed
too. ;-)

Gary

Apologies, in advance, for group posting this response, but my system balked
at the individual "Reply" I tried to send Gary.

Actually Gary- your original response was obtuse enough that I didn't
realize you were talking about the Text Size in the browser and when you
took on darrel, you'd already lost my interest. I'm well aware that this is
a band-aid and not a fix. The text is the size that the client wished it to
be when viewed with default settings on a browser and I'm willing to take
that compromise as your average user isn't going to be dinking around with
font sizes in any case.

As for the Flash Player? How many sites out there today wouldn't be
accessible without the Flash Player? Again, not worried.

My point- I appreciate the help, but it appears veiled in a layer of disdain
that most folks exhibit when they're dealing with belittling others in order
to amplify themselves. Just a word to the wise...

There was no disdain intended. I was only pointing out things I thought you
should be aware of. It is your and your customer's decision whether or not
to act on them.
