You guys dont have all the fun. I design kitchens for a living.
Me: "So what sort of (layout etc) where you thinking about...?"
Client: "I'd rather not say, you're the designer, I'd like to see what you
come up with first"
Me: (here we go again)
Client: (after seeing the quickest of quick drafts) "Oh no, that's not what
I want at all (you've failed as a designer), I wanted to see...
Like I'm f***ing psychic.

Definition of a client. He that will always insist on what he/she thinks
they can't have...until you offer it to him.

I agree with that, there are so many dorks around it's untrue. A mate of
mine designed a site for a client and he asked me to look at it, it was the
biggest load of crap I'd ever seen, it was for some bod selling apartments
in Turkey. I'm not joking the site is horrendous and even blasts Turkish
music along the way. I told my mate that he should never contact me with
such crap and he needed a good beating. He then shows me another page that
he'd created and it looked fine so I told him it looked fine but why does
the actual site was so crap, he replied "the site is what they wanted, the
page you like, well they said it was boring". Take a look at this

like that.

I just went to the link and he's took it down, it was a clean simple
display, not far off that example you posted the other day. Only difference
was the menu.
