OT: Toshiba and HP laptops

I think that it is just as simple as, "Do you prefer an automatic or stick
shift?" Some people do both. I use a mouse on my desktop, but prefer the
touchpad on my notebook because of the portability of it.

If your father is going to use it sitting at his desk, then a mouse will
work.
But I still believe that learning both will be more beneficial. I prefer a
stick shift, but drive an automatic also!

Well.. the comparison doesn't totally apply. But to use it: if I were
teaching my 15-year-old sister to drive a car for the first time, I would do
it in an automatic, so that she would have one less thing to worry about.
Then, once she had a little practice and confidence at that, I'd introduce
manual-shift driving.

I'm talking about that first few hours on a computer. It's just a LOT easier
to move that cursor where you want it using several fingers and a thumb,
than using a finger.

Wait a minute... what does that mean for the rest of us who are still swinging
from tree branches?

Also... watch out for the Sabre Tooth Tigers... they don't climb so well, but
