Default OT: SFTP vs. FTPS - 11-02-2004 , 06:17 PM

We want to purchase a new 3rd party FTP program on out server. We are
looking at http://www.gene6.com/

this one only supports FTPs.

MX 04 only supports SFTP

Is one protocol better/more secure then the other?

Thanks for any info!

SFTP is not FTP...they're two entirely different protocols. I don't think
DWMX04 supports SFTP, either, does it?

It's supposed to support it through the use of Putty (since DWMX), but
I've never found it to work very well.
