We had a DNS server issue yesterday that required a re-propagation of
our domain. As is typical, the majority of ISPs update records within 24
hours, so most of our visitors are able to connect. There are some ISPs
that cache their name servers for up to 48 hours. An example of that
would be Adelphia Cable in the U.S. - Some dialup ISPs also cache to
save bandwidth. The bottom line is that we goofed and for that we
apologize for any inconvenience. This was not the fault of any of the
companies who host our web servers.

In the interim, you can connect to our site using the active IP address:
http://65.110.72.165/

For the newsgroups, change the server setting for the account from
forums.projectseven.com to:
66.201.73.20

I know there are some of you out there who also discuss on the PVII
newsgroups.
Are you also having trouble connecting to their newsgroups and
website? I need
to know if I'm having the problem on my end or if they are down for a
while. I
haven't been able to connect to the newsgroups since yesterday (8/31)
and today
wasn't able to get to the website. Is it just me?
