"I've looked at clouds from both sides now from up and down and still somehow it's clouds' illusions I recall I really don't like clouds at all." Or something like that. Played with guitar acc. If that isn't folk music I don't know what is. Inescapable at the time, even for folks like me who found her voice resembled fingernails raked across a blackboard. Those upper registers were migraine-inducing. But I'm sure she's a very nice person. Then she went jazzy. Then she just went in a huff. -- James M. Shook http://www.jshook.com |

Me being close to retirement (now you should all say:"Oh, no, you rascal, you", etc) went from Dylan, Donovan, Baez, etc in the 60's via some Californian chewing gum jazz (Hancock, etc) to serious jazz, which has been my pastime the past 20 years. I'm having *huge* problems accepting Mitchell to be a jazz singer. To me, she will always remain a c&w girl. -- Dan Vendel - *GOF* Contact: http://www.proformica.com/en/contact.shtml Formmail tutorial: http://www.proformica.com/en/formmail_tutorial.shtml Nested tables: http://www.proformica.com/en/nested_table_demo.shtml SEO: http://www.proformica.com/en/search_engine_optimization.shtml SE Utility: http://www.proformica.com/en/advanced_web_ranking.shtml Search Dreamweaver newsgroup: http://www.proformica.com/google.html |
