Default Code to hide navigation bar in Firefox 3? - 07-14-2008 , 05:53 PM

Hi-

I have a link to "Open new browser window" via javascript. In IE and Safari,
the window opens in the designated location at the designated size, with the
address and navigation bars hidden, as specified when setting behavior
attributes. However, in Firefox 3, the navigation bar appears, regardless.
According to what I've read, this is to thwart malicious popups by revealing
their origin.

However, the browser windows opening on my site feature Flash music players
(via xspf playlists) containing music from some of my clients (I'm a record
producer/engineer). I would like to be able to assure my clients that there is
no easy way to source the location of audio files and, through trial and error,
I'd been able to make it next to impossible.

Then, along comes Firefox 3 and, it appears that the baby has been thrown out
with the bath water. I don't want to count on client-side hacks to Firefox to
preserve my graphic presentation and the security of my artists' music. I would
like to code it on my end.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Rich
