(OT) Addition animation to a website from an MPG/AVI... best way? - 06-11-2004 , 11:42 AM

What would be the best and easiest way to create small gifs from MPG or AVI
videos?

Say I wanted to grab a dozen frames and make a GIF out of it... or would I
be better off using Flash for this?

The size would be about a square inch.
