Default Opening browser window Please help me - 11-14-2004 , 12:39 AM

I have the command "open new browser window" on my privacy policy text, but it
does not look clickable. If you rollover "privacy policy" the text symbol
apears and when you click on it my privacy policy pops up. How do I make the
mouse appear so individuals visiting my site will know it is clickable.

You can go to my site http://empressmag.com and go to the very bottom left of
my page and see what I'm talking about when you rollover privay policy and
click on it.

I will be very grateful to anyone who has the solution.

Someone else may have a better solution, but I would just use a button
instead of plain text. Is this an option?

<font size="1" face="Britannic Bold"
onclick="MM_openBrWindow('/privacypolicy.html','PrivacyPolicy','width=700,hei ght=600')">Privacy
Policy </font></div>

You have applied the behavior to the <font> tag.

1. You shouldn't be using font tags anyhow
2. You should not apply any event handlers to them (the onClick is an event
handler)
3. You can only get DW to allow you to do such things if you have jiggered
your Events for to some setting other than v4+ browsers which is where you
should have it set until you understand such advanced things.

Remove this behavior in DW by selecting the <font> tag, and pressing the "-"
sign in the Behaviors panel. Then just double click on the "Privacy Policy"
text to select it, enter "javascript:;" in the Link field of the Property
inspector (that's a colon semicolon after the word javascript), and now
apply the OBW behavior as you did before.
