Default open new browser window - 07-05-2004 , 01:20 PM

When using the open browser window behaviour on an image, the new window always
opens at the top of the page, teking the viewer away from his place in the page
he was at when clicking an image to see a lager view.

The behavior I am using is the "open browser window"

How can I assign the new window a specific position on the page?

Please help...

<script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript">
<!--
function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
window.open(theURL,winName,features);
}
//-->
</script>

<a href="#"
onClick="MM_openBrWindow('features_two.htm','','wi dth=300,height=300')"><img
src="images/sm1.gif" alt="click her for larger view" width="100" height="100"
border="0"></a>

use this:
javascript:;

instead of the # for the null link.

<a href="javascript:;"
onClick="MM_openBrWindow(

the # is seen as an Anchor link that is missing by some browsers- so the
page reloads and it's at the top, like you are experiencing.
