OnMouseOver?

I'm working on a real estate site and want listing info and a larger image to
show on a mouseover (like the movie details on the Netflix site). I got it to
work with the OnMouseOver behavior, but that invokes the popup blockers when
used, which defeats the whole idea of making things smooth and easy for the
user. Is there another way to do this or am I missing something?
