Online Databases, point me to some education

I need an education on using databases on my website. Any good places to learn this?

Here's a post from earlier today that seems interesting. Note, I have not
watched these so I cannot vouch for their accuracy....

I strongly suggest that you go to www.vtc.com and watch the tutorial on
Dreamweaver MX web applications. The first three chapters are free to watch,
but to watch the whole tutorial, as well as have access to the entire
library of other tutorials for one month, it only costs US $25.

OK, I'll check it out. I need to learn how to use databases as it applies to online commerce. Username and passwords, customer files, product files and searching etc.
