Default Norton Internet Security 2004 - 11-02-2003 , 12:01 AM

I have spent the last two days struggling with Norton Internet Security
2004. The program loaded fine. The AntiSpam portion works exceptionally
well...but after install, I was no longer able to launch Dreamweaver. I was
also unable to install some programs using InstallShield. I uninstalled
Norton Internet Security and everything was peachy-keen again. I checked all
settings and permissions to allow the Windows Installer and Dreamweaver full
access to my computer. Still no luck. Has anyone else experienced these same
issues? Thanks.

Try to turn off "script blocking".

I use NAV 2004 and if script protection is on DW 2004 will be very sluggish and freeze a lot.
I just excluded the webserver and DW directory from script protection and suddently I only got a couple of craches a day instead of every 15 min.

If you are using XP that's hardly an endorsement.
