Default No video, just a white box - 05-29-2008 , 08:39 AM

Hi, I've had a good look through this forum and have made sure that I have done
the following when uploading flash video:

1. Insert .flv file into web page.
2. Upload .flv file to internet via ftp.
3. Upload Script folder with "AC_RunActiveContent.js" inside.
4. Upload web pages along with "flvplayer_progressive.swf" and
"clear_skin_2.swf".
5. I have enabled .flv in MIME settings of web host.

However, all I get when I go to one of the pages with a video on it is a white
page, the video doesn't load.

You can see what I mean if you click on one of the videos here:
http://www.standalonedigital.co.uk/portfolio.html

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards, Matt.

Hi Nancy,

I've discovered what the problem was. I'm using Classic FTP and in the
preferences there was an option 'convert to lower case always' and that was
ticked by default. This had changed FLVPlayer_Progressive.swf to
flvplayer_progressive.swf and the same for the skin.swf file. Unticking this
option and copying the files back over has solved the problem.

Anyhow, it's working now.

Cheers, Matt.
