no title of site when viewed?

Hope someone can help me

How do I put the title of my site on the web page next to the microsoft
explorer title?

I have tried

<title>name of my site</title>

it doesn't appear at all just untitled document

yes I'm using frames

Then you have to set the title on the document that contains the
frameset-definition.
