Default No paragraphs in forum posts? - 11-01-2004 , 12:56 PM

I noticed since late last week that none of my posts appear with paragraph
breaks, as originally edited - it's all one big paragraph. I see this happening
to others' posts, too. This line represents a new paragraph, but it'll be
truncated to the end of the last paragraph. Can this be fixed? Regrds, Chris

This seems to be happening to everyone using the web forums and the problem is
worse in EVERY browser besides IE because the box to type the message is in
only about 30 characters in length making it difficult to respond sometimes. I
have sent in numerous bug reports through their forms but nothing has changed
yet. I thought the forums were fine the way they were, Macromedia needs to
learn an old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

Come over to the NNTP forums and leave this problem behind.

SnakEyez,

You can always use a news client. No fuss, no muss. Format your
replies in simple text as you please. The web interface takes longer to
update, too, from what I gather.

Unless you are doing some serious magic, I don't think there is any way to
avoid the ISP! 8)

You should dump the web based forums and just use a NNTP reader.

You can connect directly to Macromedia's news server and not have to go
through your ISP.

Clarification: Through your ISP's news server.
