No Link for Javascript New Window

I'm using the Javascript new window command to call a window to
display a larger image of an item on a page The window is without
menubar or any other bars or scrolling.

The problem is that the area from which the new window is launched
does not show a link icon when you mouse over the area.

Ideas?
